This journal is friends only. Please read through the profile, this, and the introduction post. You'll see most of the stuff there you need to know whether or not you really want to friend us. If you still do after that, comment here to be added.

If we don't know you, we likely won't add you unless we know you've been prodded to us by someone  we know, and even that's not a guarantee. No offense intended here, we're just not keen on having people we're uncomfortable with from the start on our journal. If we know you-please tell us who you are and where we know you from, so that...you know, we know who you are.

Requisites for being friended here, whether we know you or not:

1) Respect our shit. It's real to us, even if it's completely crazy to you, so please treat it like it's real while on our journal.

2) Keep what is in our journal, in our journal. Don't discuss it outside the journal and/or filter(s) without express permission. We're a tad picky about privacy, and we give this courtesy to those on our f-lists, so we expect it. Not to mention the fact that we're not out as multiple to everyone, and we do NOT want to be unwillingly outed.

You stick to that, you're good. ;-)

We also reserve the right to de-friend or un-filter anyone due to overly excessive amounts of discomfort or anxiety. We don't do either de-friending or un-filtering lightly in any way, shape or form-but if it ever becomes necessary, we will. However, we always let people know when we de-friend them. Not so much when we un-filter them, though.

Now that the basics have been gotten out of the way, what you'll see on our journal.

We don't use filters too much anymore, due to practicality and simplicity. Our phone-intarnetz don't allow us to use filters, and we think it pointless to use filters on the computer if we can't use them on the phone. But we usually stick some qualifiers, and the author, in curly-brackets in the post subject.

Here's what you'll see for "categories" of subjects, and some descriptions.

Multiplicity: Starting out with this, as it hasn't been blatantly mentioned before this. We're multiple. System name used is Rhiannon, Rhi for short. All other names are either system members or visitors with fronting permission. In the sense of "There's more than one person living in this head and using this body, and we're functional that way". We pull the singlet routine in circumstances when we're not interested in outing as multiple-at work, and around people who aren't open to multiplicity-but for us, that's part of being multiple. We're not certain of our origins. We could all be splits of varying development from one person, we might all be from completely different places. We appreciate the treatment of individuals, no matter the case. If you're wanting to know more of us as individuals, please take a peek at our introductions post. It doesn't have everyone there-but it has a good few of us. James, listed on the intro post, is no longer bound to our system, but he's still an active visitor, so we're not removing his intro unless specifically asked. We also play way-station for a small number of Dokkalfar, adjusting to this world after arriving from theirs. They don't front, but they're included here, as they're living in here right now. This tag'll be any specifically/directly system-related news.

Sexuality and Romantic relationships: The body, and those in it, are poly, although we're not physically functioning as poly. Two of us are dating several in another multiple system. One of us is engaged to one of them, and the two bodies are thus also engaged. We've also got some spiritual out-of-body relationships going on, which are also included here.

Most of us are also highly sexual people...and most of THOSE are also kinky. The system-wide identity is "bisexual switch", but there's varying identities the more specific you go. To put a highly problematic twist on this, there is also a massive amount of sexual trauma and/or triggers. More of what you'll see from this category is of the relationship and romance based side, but you will occasionally see some of the sexuality bits, usually when in headspace and/or dealing with one/some of the triggers. All of this will be under a marked cut.

Platonic Relationships: There are several platonic relationships we've got which affect us very deeply, whether because those people have fucked us up/fucked us over, or because we care very strongly about them. You won't see much of this, but sometimes you might.

Otherkin: Our most common fronter is Jotun and Elf. Many of the rest of us identify with some variety of otherkin, be that animal, mystical/mythical being, or what have you. There's one of us who identifies as an archetype, and she's included here as well. There's not many kin-specific entries anymore-but there are common mentions of kin-based...stuff.

Past Lives/Memories: All of us believe in reincarnation. All of us have had several lives, most of us have at least one that strongly calls to us/we identify with. And all of us have done some memory work. Some intensive, some not as so. Sometimes you'll see specific posts here, but more often you'll see portions of this woven into other posts.

Mental Health/Therapy: We've been slapped with quite a few labels. General Anxiety, Major Depression, mild PTSD, ADHD, type 6 (ring of fire/baso ganglial) ADD, and we have bipolar tendencies. Needless to say, this makes life interesting. We try to keep away from making too many of these posts, as we don't want to use writing about it as a crutch opposed to a tool, but on occasion you'll see some stuff here. We've recently gotten back into therapy to try and figure through some of the crap we've not managed to work out on our own-and so that tag will be attached to any posts we make about any therapy sessions. We repeat the privacy note in therapy's case. We'll be pretty damned pissed if that leaks out of the journal, our name attached or otherwise.

Religion/Spirituality: The vast majority of what you'll hear here, is about our main fronter's religious/spiritual experiences. There are quite a large number of the rest of us who are religious people, and all of us are spiritual in some sense, but she's the one who talks the most about it. She belongs to one (or two, depending on how you count) of the deities of the Irish (and British, though that gets convoluted) Celtic pantheons, and also to three of the dieties of the Norse pantheon. She also interacts in varying frequencies with some of the Jotnar, the Dokkalfar, and the Ljossalfar. This is a constant presence in her life, not being restricted only to ritualistic settings and including UPG, and so you'll hear mentions of this very often.

Emotions: Rants: This body has a hell of a temper. And most of the people-our main fronter included, which doesn't help the body's programming-have hella tempers as well. Sometimes, we get pissed off enough to write an entire post about what's pissing us off. Generally-though not always-these can be expected to be lacking linear and rational thought. Sometimes they can be amusing, generally they're standard and typical. They exist-but please feel free to pass them up, it's usually just us venting.

Emotions: Emo/Depression/Anxiety/AngstWangst/Pain: We're prone to these emotions for the mental-label reasons, and more specifically from specific circumstances. These often are posts comprised of the emotions speaking, with attempts at lucidity and linear thinking woven in there. Those attempts, if the emotion has reached post-worthy intensity, are weaker than they should be. We usually do not post under this unless it's the last option in the circumstance to keep from, essentially, blacking out to the emotion. There are a rising number of circumstances, however, where we'll use this tag as a tool to KEEP it from getting to that level. You will generally be able to tell, based on rationality, which it is.

Family: This is pertaining to our bio-family, mostly, not to any other family that we feel bonded to. Our bio-sister is also diagnosed with General Anxiety and Depression, and we're incredibly protective of her. Our bio-father currently lives with the grandmother down in Florida, but he has extreme stress and anxiety problems, which are destroying his health, and we have felt protective of him for a long time. The body's mother, we have never had a good relationship with, it remains tenuous at best, and she remains the biggest source of ARGH in our body's family. Our stepfather is the sort of man who hates children-especially ones who can stand up for themselves properly-and who would rather beat us than speak to us. This is not often used, but it can span anything from worry to lurve to ARGH when it is.

Paganystuff: The mystic/woogy/pseudoreligious/nonmundane filter, of the lesser degree. We are mystics, animists, energy workers, walkers (who happen to walk to other worlds in addition to our own), and we also have varying metaphysical skills that we tap into from time to time. The less extreme, more tolerable, "more sane" end of this variety of things.

Woogy/Weirdshit: Take the above. Pop it up a level or three. Sometimes shit can get crazy, and that's what goes here. Repeating the request to treat this like it's real while in this journal, as it's real to us, even if it isn't to you.

Crafting: We are artists. Or, rather, our main fronter is (and the body seems programmed to it), and as she's out so much and has been for so long, the rest of us are by proxy. If it's called an art, or a craft, and is of the tactile sort (writing doesn't count here, for instance), generally we can pick it up and love it. The exceptions are any yarn arts-those we've never gotten and generally dislike. Oh, and calligraphy...but that's from a lack of patience, not a lack of skill. Our most common is beadwork and sewing arts (in specific, costuming, usually of the period variety), so that's what you'll hear the most of. ...These posts can get long, especially if it's our main writing...we can go into nth degree detail here.

Geekery: We are incredible geeks, in addition to the above stuff. We love computer games the most, but we're also incredibly fond of table top and live action RP games. For computer, we span games such as WoW, Vanguard, Loki (an rp we're currently addicted to..), Oblivion, Medieval: Total War, and the like. For RP, we favor any White Wolf game (minus Vampire, our favorites are Exalted and World Of Darkness), Dungeons and Dragons (3.5 ed is the favored, but 4ed is awesome as well), and NERO. We're also history and knowledge whores, but those run toss-up chances of ending up under this tag.

Work: We work at the Denver International Airport, for Delware North Companies. Our current shift has us working the 6am or 5am (depending on the day) shift at Schlotszky's, in concourse A. Morning international airport food service. We cashier there. Our coworkers are, for the most part, ghetto peoples. Extreme standard-society mundanes, ghetto or not. Our job can be anything from hilarious to anxiety-inducing to KILL IT ALL. Often we don't have enough material for a POST, but sometimes, we do.

Daily: These can either be done for the day before or the day just had, but we make every attempt to do dailies or yesterdailies, for record's sake and for keeping our access/friend's lists informed sake. It's almost in bullet-list form, encompassing most of the above tags. Pretty basic, really.

And, of course:

General: Anything that doesn't fit in the above.

As mentioned, we don't use filters much anymore. The only time that we might, is if there's something posted we're extremely nervous/paranoid about, and that'll merely be a trusted filter. You don't get to choose whether you're on that, but you can ask to be taken off it at any point.
